No. 93 — Take a Trip to Fun Station

A fun place to take the kids.

Our eighth installment in the "100 Things to Do in Lynbrook" is check out , located at 40 Rocklyn Avenue.

This is a fun place to take the children on a day or night when you are looking for something to do. Great for a rainy weekend when you need to get out of the house for a while.

There are many price options so you don’t have to go broke to visit this place. Fun Station USA offer unlimited bracelets — which are all-day passes — or you can purchase individual ticket rides or just play the games.

One of my favorite things to do here is play laser tag. Kids have a lot of fun playing this with their parents; grown-ups have fun too. Most of the rides are not fit for grown-ups, which is also nice because the rides are small and safe enough that you don’t have to go on with them. Fun Station USA also has the latest video games, bumper cars, a carousel, a turtle train, helicopter, roller coaster simulator, flight simulator and a multi-level play maze.

There are many different options to entertain your children and still not break the bank. Tickets can be cashed in for prizes when you are done playing.

Fun Station USA also has a food court with Nathan’s hot dogs and also pizza, my children’s favorite. It offers private parties and can accommodate up to 500 people. It provide activities that are fun for all ages, including adults. There are also different party ideas for kids if you would like to have a birthday party here.

For places that are looking for a simple fundraiser, Fun Station USA has fundraising experts who can show you how to raise money for your organization with no paperwork, no cleanup or volunteers needed — they provide everything for you.

Fun Station USA has a Friday night special, which is $20 a child from 6-9 p.m. This deal includes unlimited rides, a $10 game card, and a food choice of a hot dog or pizza, small fries and a drink. Check the Patch "Frugal Family" on Friday for coupons to Fun Station USA.
