Patch Question: Bank of America Fee Dropped

Will you go back to the bank?

Bank of America announced on Tuesday that it has dropped its plan to charge customers $5 a month for the right to use their debit cards when making purchases.

The initial decision to charge customers the fee drew a huge backlash from the public. Many withdrew from the bank in protest because of it.

Other banks like Citgroup and Wells Fargo have also scrapped plans for a debit card charge, according to reports.
