  1. School Bus Threat: Long Island school districts and bus drivers are taking precautions today, responding to a threat that they learned about on Tuesday. A disturbing e-mail received on April 1 targeted New York State institutions,  making a reference to attacking school buses, according to authorities. for the story and check back later to see what school officials in Malverne and West Hempstead have to say.
  2. Malverne Village Board: The board of trustees for the village of Malverne will hold its monthly public meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Village Hall. Patch will have a story later today about a challenge that had been followed against the village in regards to the recent election, as well as footage and photos from Monday night's inauguration.
