Malverne Police Prisoner Wins Pet Costume Contest

Drinking from the toilet? Chewing a nice pair of shoes? We're not sure what this pooch did to deserve his black-and-white stripes, but this furry prisoner earned top prize at this year's pet costume contest in Malverne.

Pee Wee the Chihuahua placed first at the contest held at Sunday's Fall Festival. Second place went to a sweet Golden Doodle dressed as a shark and third to Maggie the Morkie, who was disguised as a green caterpillar. Thanks to in Malverne for providing these great shots of the top three dogs.
