  • The East Rockaway High School is tonight at 7 p.m. at the high school.
  • The Temple Am Echad is today at 1:30 p.m. Food will be donated to a local center to help feed needy families. The temple is located at 1 Saperstein Plz, Lynbrook.
  • The East Rockaway Recreation Center at 17 John Street is holding at 4 p.m. "From painting and sculpting to everything in between, we are sure to have the cure for your winter time blues." Email RKappel@­villa­geofeastro­ckaway.­org for more info.
  • There will also be from 7 to 8 p.m. Zumba is a Latin based program that takes original dances and joins them with fitness moves, which result in a medium to high impact cardio workout.
