Jan. 4: Kindergarten Registration Reminder; Lynbrook Rape Charge

• The Lynbrook Public Schools district-wide will take place during January and February at the Central Administration Offices, 111 Atlantic Avenue, Lynbrook. Children are eligible to enter kindergarten if they are residents of the Lynbrook Public Schools and they are five years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2012. Please for registration dates for your home school. 

• A Lynbrook man was recently arrested and charged with second degree rape, according to police. Check out the story here.

• Thehosts today at 6:30 p.m. pend a pleasant evening knitting, crocheting, or quilting hats, lap robes, blankets, and other items for newborns, children in need, and veterans in our VA hospitals.

• The Library also hosts their tonight at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome. Stop in and ask for the current book.
