June 2: Library Book Sale, Local Ice Cream Shops

The following are five things you need to know today in Lynbrook and/or on Patch:

1 — The Friends of the Lynbrook Public Library will be holding a three-day book sale to raise money for the library. The book sale begins today. Patch will have the story later this morning.

2 — Every Thursday on Patch, we'll be featuring several upcoming open houses. Look out for that story this afternoon.

3 — With the warmer weather, naturally comes the urge to eat some ice cream or Italian ices. In this week's "Patch Picks," we'll tell you where to find a shop near you.
