Karen McMahon, a certified life coach, will lead a series of workshops at in Lynbrook from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more details, see the Patch story .

2 — Millions of people watch American Idol nationwide, but perhaps the largest cheering section for Robbie Rosen, a Merrick resident in the show's Top 24, can be found at Atria Lynbrook, where his grandmother and fellow residents cheer on the 17-year-old singer.
