Five things you need to know today in Lynbrook.

The following are five things you need to know today in Lynbrook and/or on Patch:

1 — Most people may go to work from 9 to 5, but on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m., members of the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce are already talking business at their Networking Breakfast at the . Non-members are also welcome. The group meets at the east end of the diner.

2 — The Lynbrook Public Library will host "Senior Moments" from 2-3 p.m. This free show will take you through life's "golden years," told through staged readings of one-act plays conducted by humorists such as Woody Allen, Paul Dooley, Frederick Stroppel, and Robert Anderson. No registration is required for this show.

3 — The Lynbrook varsity boys lacrosse team took on Farmingdale yesterday. In a Patch story running later today, see how the Owls fared against one of the better lacrosse teams in Nassau County.

4 — The Lynbrook boys baseball team hosted Island Trees yesterday. See the results from that game in a Patch story later today.
