May 19: Lynbrook Open Houses, Local Resturants with Outdoor Seating

The following are five things you need to know today in Lynbrook and/or on Patch:

1 — On Thursday, the Lynbrook area will see scattered showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. A high temperature of about 68 degrees is expected.

2 —Looking to buy a new home or just curious about what houses are selling for? Later today, Patch will be posting a guide to several open houses being featured in Lynbrook this weekend.

3 — Through a series of recent fundraisers, the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce was able to collect thousands of dollars. Patch will report some great things that the Chamber is using the money for.

4 — With the weather getting warmer, Patch is highlighting some local restaurants where you can sit outdoors. The weekly feature includes eateries from Rockville Centre, Long Beach, Malverne and more.
