We invite you and your circle of friends to help build a community of support for mothers and their families right here in Malverne and West Hempstead.

Moms Talk will also be the place to drop in for a chat about the latest parenting hot topic. Where can we get information on local flu shot clinics for children? How do we talk to our children about peer pressure, bullying and protecting themselves online ? How can we help our children's schools weather their budget cutbacks?

Today's topic is cyber-bullying. (An issue that the West Hempstead PTA has been addressing through workshops in February and March.) - Do you think cyber bullying is a big problem among today's kids? Have you discussed this with your child? How do you monitor your child's online activity?

You'll see our Moms Council members weighing in on this topic in the comments below and they are eager to hear what you have to say, so join in the conversation. Use the comment thread to voice your opinions, share your experiences or ask them a question!
