Nov. 14: East Rockaway Village Board Meeting, Motorcycle Accident

• The Lynbrook library holds a today at 7 p.m. They will be reading "The School of Essential Ingredients" by Erica Bauermeister. If you want to join the book club please call the library or stop by the circulation desk.

• A Valley Stream man was seriously injured Sunday when his motorcycle collided with a car on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

• The East Rockaway Village Board meeting is Monday night at 8 p.m., located at 376 Atlantic Ave. Stay with us for the story Tuesday.

• Have you contributed to any local food drives yet? You have plenty of time. in Lynbrook hopes to collect more food than they did last year, when they took in more than 1000 lbs. of food! State Assemblyman is also holding a drive at his district office, located at 108 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
