Three people were injured around 11 a.m. Sunday morning after a near head-on collision on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
The two-car crash sent one of the vehicles onto the nearby sidewalk and then through the glass storefront of a carpet store.
West Hempstead firefighters and EMS personnel along with county police were on the scene to assist the injured.
