Vintage View: Hall's Pond Gets 'Hip' Treatment

For months, Hall's Pond Park in West Hempstead has been undergoing rennovations to give it a much-needed makeover.

Although residents continue to await the day they can step inside the revamped park, Patch recently gave the local landmark a hip look of its own. Getting as close as the fences surrounding the park allowed us, we shot images using the Hipstamatic app for iPhone.

Photography applications like Hipstamatic and Instagram use different effects to give images a throw-back or vintage feel.
