Lenten Mission with Fr. John E. Collins, CSP

St. Thomas the Apostle Church (24 Westminster Rd., West Hempstead) warmly welcomes you to join Fr. John Collins, a native of NYC and experienced retreat preacher, for three nights of spiritual renewal, beginning at 7:30 PM each evening.  Over the course of this mission, he will address the question, “Can you describe what happens in those events in your life in which you experience the presence of God?”

Fr. John hopes that coming together for these evenings will move people to reach out to others by sharing their faith.  He will help us develop our own “faith story” by using our negative and positive experiences.  His theme for Monday, April 4 will be “What Good is God?”  On Tuesday, April 5, he’ll look at “Why Prayers Don’t Work.”  Fr. John will conclude on Wednesday, April 6 with “Ten Kinds of People We Don’t Have to Love.”
