Malverne Resident Albert Isaacson Passes Away at 91

Albert Isaacson of Malverne, NY, longtime Cradle of Aviation Museum aircraft-restoration volunteer, artist and craftsman, died at the age of 91 on Nov. 14, 2013.

Born in Brooklyn, married for 61 years to the late Leatrice Fluhr Isaacson, he was a WWII Army veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star with Oakleaf Cluster, who ran his family's interior decorating business, pursued his aviation and other interests with passion and skill, and gave selflessly throughout his productive life to family and community.

He leaves his daughter Nan Miller, son Jason, grandchildren Sarah and Adam Isaacson and Julie and Matthew Miller, children-in-law Ron Miller and Holly Hexter.

Funeral service Sunday, Nov. 17, 11:00 a.m., Boulevard Riverside, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY; burial to follow at Wellwood Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
