Cops Bust West Hempstead Man With 8 Types of Illegal Drugs

A West Hempstead man was observed conducting a drug deal outside his home Thursday night, according to Nassau County Police, who also say they found eight different types of drugs in his possession.

Cops say they witnessed Joseph Pirrello, 24, exit his residence on Madison Avenue around 10 p.m., appproach a waiting vehicle and conduct a hand-to-hand drug transaction, dropping eight bags of heroin in the car.

The Narcotics Squad reports that the defendant was also found to have marijuana in his possession. They also recovered multiple bags of marijuana, Psilcybin (Mushrooms), Zanax pills, Clonzepam pills, Suboxone, MDMA and LSD in Pirrello's bedroom.

The police arrested Pirrello, who is being charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Criminal Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Sale of Marijuana. He will be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
