Cops Seek Info in West Hempstead Pedestrian Robbery

Nassau County Police release sketch of one of two subjects wanted for West Hempstead robbery.

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the following subject in connection with a robbery which occurred in West Hempstead last week.

Two male victims were robbed by two unknown black male perpetrators on Dec. 28 at approximately 10:52 p.m. in the rear of 329 Hempstead Turnpike. One of the subjects was wearing a New York Rangers sweatshirt, while the other wore a ski mask. The two subjects, armed with hand guns, stole cash and personal items from the victims. They fled the scene in a silver colored four door sedan, possibly a Toyota.
Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the subjects or with any information about this crime to call their toll free hotline: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous. There is a reward of up to $5,000.
