Cops: Two People Robbed at Gunpoint at Capri Lynbrook Motor Inn

Subject forced the duo into a room before allegedly stealing a computer and two cell phones.

A man and a woman were forced into a room at gunpoint at the shortly after midnight on Thursday morning, police said.

According to Fifth Squad detectives, a 24-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were robbed of a laptop and two cell phones by a black male, approximately 18 years old and 130 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. After the alleged robbery, the victims followed the subject on foot to Freer Street where police say they lost him.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls are confidential and all callers will remain anonymous.
