Crime Report, Pt. II: Multiple Shoplifting Arrests, DWI Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Franklin Square

- Sometime between 12:10 a.m. and 12:40 a.m. on Nov. 1, unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle at Shackletons Bar & Grill, on Lexington Avenue and Lloyd Street. 

- On Nov. 2 at 9 a.m., unknown person(s) removed a license plate from a trailer on Polk Avenue. 

- Sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 9, unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle on Roxbury Road South. 

- Sometime between 5 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 31, unknown suspect(s) caused damage to a vehicle on St. Lukes Place. 

Oceanside

- Sometime between 8 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 30-31, an unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle on Mount Avenue and Nassau Parkway.

- Sometime between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Oct. 31, unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle on Loftus Avenue and Hull Street.

- On Nov. 5 at 3 a.m., unknown person(s) removed property from the front lawn of a residence on Waukena Avenue. 

- Sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Nov. 9, unknown person(s) caused damage to a vehicle on Waukena Avenue. 

Valley Stream

- Between Oct. 31 and Nov. 8, eight individuals were arrested for shoplifting at the Green Acres Mall. 

- Sometime between 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 2 and 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 4, unknown person(s) removed license plates from a vehicle on Jasen Avenue.

- Sometime between 1:10 p.m. an 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 8, unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle outside Red Lobster on W. Sunrise Highway.

- On Oct. 7 at 4:25 a.m., John R. Bonlarron of Smithtown was arrested and charged with DWI on N. Corona Ave. 

- On Nov. 9 at 3:05 a.m., Bruno Andrea Maguina of Valley Stream was arrested and charged with DWI on Sunrise Highway and 4th Street.
