Crime Report, Pt. II: Vehicle Break-in at Lucille Roberts; CVS Shoplifting Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Valley Stream 

- Sometime between 11 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 11, an unknown person(s) removed property from a vehicle on E. Merrick Road. 

- Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 11, an unknown person(s) removed a license plate from a vehicle that was parked in a driveway on S. Montgomery Street. 

- Sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, an unknown person(s) broke the rear window of a vehicle and removed property at Lucille Roberts on W. Merrick Road. 

- On Dec. 13 at 5:44 p.m. an individual from Cambria Heights was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl's on Green Acres Rd. 

Garden City South

- On Dec. 13 at 12:37 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) removed a pocketbook and other items from an unlocked vehicle at Euston Road. 

Oceanside

- On Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m., two individuals from Lynbrook and Hempstead were arrested and charged with shoplifting at CVS on Long Beach Road. 

- On Dec. 14 at 10:40 p.m., unknown person(s) threw a rock at a bedroom window of a house on Waukena Avenue, causing it to shatter.

Lakeview

- Sometime between 9 a.m. on Dec. 14 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 15, unknown person(s) sprayed paint lion figurines at a home on Ontario Road. 

- On Dec. 12 at 4:30 a.m., after getting into a verbal argument, an unknown suspect struct the windshield of victim's vehicle causing it to shatter, on Woodfield Road.
