Lynbrook PD: Lynbrook Teen Arrested on Drug Possession

A weekly rundown of arrests and case reports from the Lynbrook Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Arrests

  • On April 29 at 8:16 p.m., Vincent Domenech, 23, of Merrick, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) at the Lybrook LIRR Station on Sunrise Highway.
  • On April 30 at 12:29 a.m., Tyler E. Bond, 18, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with five counts criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On May 2 at 10:35 a.m., Shawana M. Staton, 36, of West Hempstead was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) and uninsured motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On May 4 at 6:59 a.m., Gerald Adams, 41, of St. Albans, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
Case Reports
  • Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident: At 3:08 p.m. on May 2, a complainant reported that their vehicle was struck by a dark colored SUV with two occupants while it was parked in the private parking area of 444 Merrick Road. The operator of the vehicle failed to stop and make known their identity. The Lynbrook Police Detective Division is investigating.
