Nassau PD: Movie Theater Theft, Park Fountain Damaged

A rundown of arrests and crimes reported in the Fourth Precinct.

Arrests

  • On July 20 at 2:05 a.m., Matthew B. Williams, of New Hyde Park, and Michael E. Marrero, of Franklin Square were arrested on Park Lane N. in Franklin Square for larcenies from multiple vehicles.

Case Reports

  • Between 9 p.m. on June 25 and 6 a.m. on June 26, an unknown suspect(s) broke the glass of the Town of Hempstead clock located in the parking lot on Dogwood Avenue in Franklin Square.

  • Between 7:40 p.m. and 9:13 p.m. on July 16, a victim reported that an unknown person(s) removed her wallet from her pocketbook after she placed it on the floor and began to watch a movie at the Clearview Cinema on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square.

  • Between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. on July 17, an unknown suspect(s) caused damage to the fountain at Averill Boulevard Park in Franklin Square.
