A car accident in Franklin Square prompted Nassau County Police to shutter a stretch of Dogwood Avenue.
Cops announced they had closed Dogwood Avenue between Sprague Avenue and Seabury Avenue as of 10:22 a.m.
The street will be closed until further notice as emergency crews secure the scene.
