UPDATE: Robbery Reported at West Hempstead T-Mobile

Police are searching for three suspects.

Update: June 21, 2:13 a.m.

Nassau County Police are searching for three men who attempted to rob the T-Mobile store located at 590 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead Tuesday morning.

According to Nassau County detectives, just before noon, two black male suspects, one armed with a long barrel revolver, entered the T-Mobile store.  The employees were able to lock themselves in the office and there were no customers in the store at the time.

The suspects spent about one minute in the store before getting in a red or maroon Mitsubishi where a third suspect was waiting for them, police said. They fled the scene northbound on Euston Road South.

No proceeds were taken from the store and no injuries were reported at this time, police said.

The first suspect that entered the store is described to be approximately 5-foot-10, wearing a gray hooded shirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask carrying the handgun.

The second suspect is described as approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a New York Mets hat, large dark sunglasses, a blue sweatshirt and jeans.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
