The first two defendants were arrested Jan. 2 on unauthorized practice and prostitution charges.

This is rediculous. It is legal in Nevada. This state should do likewise. It is an added stream of revenue just like casinos - - which after 40 years New York finally woke up and smelled the coffee. New Jersey has been eating our lunch for years in Atlantic City. The Racecino at Aqueduct has shattered records. With over 1 billion in revenue generated. The gambling hub operated by Resorts World Casino New York City raked in more than $8 million during the week that the city was under siege from Superstorm Sandy, according to recent State Lottery figures. That number is even more impressive when you consider that at Sandy’s apex, the South Ozone Park attraction was closed for a day and a half. That means the racino raked in an average of $1.45 million for each day it was open that week — just shy of its take of about $1.84 million a day during a typical week. Now lets open Red Zone. And stop with all this righteous indignation. Its the oldest profession in the world. Lets regulate it and make money off it and stop pretending that prostitution doesnt exist.
