Two Vehicles Burglarized on Peninsula Boulevard

Lynbrook police release weekly crime report.

The following is the weekly crime report submitted by the Lynbrook Police Department. All information is courtesy of the police.

Arrests

  • On Dec. 20 at 12:45 a.m., William Flatley, 18, of Atlantic Beach, N.Y., and Ryan Clark, 18, of Lynbrook, N.Y., were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana at the Lynbrook train station.
  • On Dec. 18 at 1:17 a.m., Curtis Kollarus, 25, of Lindenhurst, N.Y., was arrested on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook and charged with DWI.
  • On Dec. 29 at 8:15 p.m., Adrian Williams, 37, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
  • On Dec. 30 at 1:20 a.m., Christopher Rivera, 17, of Valley Stream, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Robbery in the Second Degree. Police say the robbery occurred on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On Dec. 31 at 11:49 p.m., Marrell Long, 17, of Far Rockaway, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass, which police say occurred on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On Jan. 2 at 11:45 p.m., William Turner, 48, of Springfield Gardens, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On Jan. 2 at 8:47 p.m., Frank Dawson, 26, of Middle Island, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and speeding on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

  • A 12-year-old male had his Blackberry Torch cell phone, valued at $199, stolen from him by an unknown male at the basketball courts in Greis Park. The subject, who fled the scene, is described as a 17-year-old male Hispanic, approximately 5'2" tall with a thin build.
  • Between 11:55 p.m. on Dec. 25 and 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 26, $1,700 worth of electronic equipment was reported stolen from a 2009 Hyundai parked on Edmund Street in Lynbrook.
  • On Dec. 28, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. , a cell phone, GPS unit, and black leather wallet containing various credit cards, was reported stolen from a 2007 Honda parked along Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.
  • Between the hours of 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, an Apple iPod and charger was reported stolen from a 1999 Volkswagen parked along Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.
