West Hempstead Man Reported Missing
He was last seen driving eastbound at exit 19 of the Southern State Parkway.
Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing West Hempstead man who was last spotted driving eastbound on the Southern State Parkway Monday.
According to cops, John Mavrakakis was seen near exit 19 at around 11 a.m. Monday near exit 19 of the Southern State.
He was wearing a blue, plaid short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. His possible destinations include Queens and Suffolk County, cops said.
Mavrakakis is described as white, approximately six feet tall and 170 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes, and he was driving a gray 2001 Toyota Camry with New York plates. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call their local precinct.
