Woman Injured in Crash on Malverne-Lynbrook Border

Lynbrook firefighters respond to accident at busy intersection Tuesday.

One person was injured late Tuesday afternoon in a two-car accident at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Lakeview Avenue, the border of Malverne and Lynbrook

The Lynbrook Volunteer Fire Department transported one female, who was complaining of chest pains, to Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre.

The crash backed up rush hour traffic in all directions with the overflow vehicles pouring onto the side streets in an attempt to bypass the scene.
