Meeting Agenda: June 20 Village Board

The Lynbrook village board meets tonight at 6:30 p.m., with the main session taking place at 8 p.m.

Here are some of the items on tonight's agenda:

  • The board will review its options regarding the redevelopment of Langdon Place.
  • Trustees will discuss security options for Village Hall.
  • Public hearings are being held on sidewalk assessments and on a local law regarding the ethics board.
  • The board will adopt its fund balance policy.
  • Several proclamations will be made tonight, including one Abraham Shenkman, the 100-year-old grand marshal of Lynbrook's Centennial/Memorial Day Parade.
  • A decision will be rendered on a special use permit for T-Mobile, looking to build cell antennas atop a building on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • And, the highlight of the evening, the board will name Lynbrook's Man and Woman of the Year.
