Where Are Power Outages in Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook?

Let us know what streets are still without power?

More than one week after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the East Coast and knocked out power for nearly 1 million Long Islanders, there are still hundreds of Long Island Power Authority customers in Malverne, Lynbrook, West Hempstead and Lakeview in the dark.

Patch is compiling a list of exactly what parts of Malverne, West Hempstead, Lynbrook and Lakeview are waiting for power. (This list has been shared with local village, town, county and state elected officials, as well as LIPA.)

Use the comments section below to post the name of a street, business or intersection you know is still without electricity, and if you've heard from LIPA yet.

Here's what we have so far. (For safety reasons, do not list specific addresses just street names and cross streets.)
