2011 Vote: Residents Head to the Polls

Villagers to vote on budget, two propositions, school board candidates.

Lynbrook residents are heading to the polls today to vote on a slew of propositions on the ballot.

Residents are voting on the 2011-12 proposed budget; a proposition to allow use of technology reserve funds for tech replacements and upgrades; and a proposition to allow the use of capital reserve funds for construction of an athletic field at South Middle School.

Voters will also be choosing two school board candidates out of three that are running. Alicemarie Bresnihan is running unopposed, while Ellen Marcus is being challenged by Christine Basile.
