Lynbrook High School senior Damian Andreani has been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America High School Boys Scholar All-East Region Team.
Damian was also awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Positive Coaching Alliance as part of their Triple Impact Competitor Program, sponsored by Deloitte and the Thrive Foundation for Youth. The scholarship is awarded to athletes who strive to display the three core values of personal mastery, leadership and honoring the game.
Damian, who is captain of Lynbrook's varsity soccer team, is a two-time All-County athlete and recipient of a senior scholar-athlete award. In addition to his involvement in varsity soccer, Damian volunteers his time to work with the Top Soccer program for children with special needs.
