Malverne Daisy Troop Helps Long Beach School Recover from Sandy
Troop #2567 donates money and art supplies.
Daisy Troop #2567 collected art supplies and raised more than $500 during this year's Lighting of Malverne to help a Long Beach School that suffered major damage during Superstorm Sandy.
The Maurice W. Downing Primary School Daisy Troop recently gave the donations to the principal of East Elementary School in Long Beach. The supplies will be used to help replenish the school's art room, which was impacted by Sandy.
