Malverne Superintendent Says Discrimination Claims 'Without Merit'
School district chief issues statement regarding civil action suit.

Hunderfund is one of four school administrators listed as defendants, along with the district itself, in the 38-page complaint obtained by Patch Monday. (You can view it .) It was filed by two current Malverne teachers and one assistant principal, all African American, who allege that they were racially discriminated against by district administrators and teaching staff.
The suit was filed on Dec. 7, but Hunderfund said he was "unaware of it." He added, "We believe the claim is without merit."
