PHOTOS: GW Elementary Celebrates 100 Days of School
West Hempstead elementary school keeps learning fun.
The following message is from George Washington Elementary School principal Theresa Ganley from Feb. 25:
We did it! We have reached the 100th day of school here at George Washington. Students in the first grade dedicated the day to exploring the many ways that the number 100 could be expressed. Pictured with Mrs. Michelle Barbo are students that used their skills in mathematics to explore the number 100. The children with Mrs. Kara Maguire dressed for the occasion in outfits that depicted what they may look like at 100 years of age. Learning continues to be fun!
