St. Thomas Hosts Annual Family Festival

Four-day carnival features rides, games and food.

kicked off its four-day annual Family Festival Thursday night.

The carnival inside the parking lot of the West Hempstead Catholic school and church features classic rides like the ferris wheel, the Scrambler and a big slide, a fun house and various attractions for kids of all ages. There's also games where participants can win prizes, live entertainment and tasty fair fare.

The festival will be run though Sunday. Here's a list of times it will be open.

  • Friday, June 1, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 2, 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 3, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
