West Hempstead School Board Meeting Agenda - July 12

See what the board of education will be discussing at July's monthly business and reorganization meetings.

The West Hempstead Board of Education will hold their monthly business and annual reorganization meetings Tuesday night.

Newly re-elected board President Pamela Lotito and Vice President Walter Ejnes will take the oath of office tonight and several appointments will be made including district clerk, treasurer and auditors to name a few.

The board will also form a number of committees and assign members to their posts as part of the reorganization portion of the meeting.

A regular business meeting will follow, during which the board will vote on contracts, the sixth grade trip to Frost Valley, prices for cafeteria items and other matters.  They will address the two percent tax cap that was recently passed in Albany and as always, allow West Hempstead and Island Park residents to speak.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. at the administration building on Chestnut Street.
