WH Students Awarded at Molloy College Science Fair
West Hempstead duo receives honorable mention awards.
West Hempstead students Amanda Lombardo and Kannan Rajendran were recently selected as finalists at the 2013 Molloy College Science Fair.
They each received honorable mention awards at a special awards ceremony April 27.
The fair was held on March 15 at Molloy College in honor of the top 25 students.
More than 250 freshman and sophomore students from Nassau County public and private high school schools were given the opportunity to present their science research projects to judges.
The experimental designs and presentations were judged based upon a rubric of scientific criteria.
