Whiz Kids: Lynbrook Pair Invited to Sing With Elite Nassau Group

STUDENTS SING WITH DIVISION III CHORUS FOR THIRD TIME
Whiz Kids' Names: Alexa Ford and John DiCaro
Whiz Kids' Grade: Alexa is in 7th grade; John is in 8th grade.
Whiz Kids' School:
Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Alexa and John were recently invited to sing with the Division III Chorus of the Nassau Music Educators Association (NMEA) All County Festival at the Tilles Center.
Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Only a select few are invited to sing with this group, and the two students were selected for the third year in a row. To be selected, one would have to achieve a score of "Outstanding" from the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) the previous spring. Alexa and John were nominated for Division III Chorus by their music teacher, Miss Tornabene.
