Ever wondered how those miniature American flags mysteriously appear on your front lawn each Memorial Day?
Every Memorial Day weekend, each home in Malverne has a small American flag flying on their front lawn. Have you ever wondered how they get there?
Well, Patch discovered that it's the handiwork of Boy Scout Troop 24 and two local merchants. Keith Friedman, of and Brett Berges, of donate the flags and provide a complimentary breakfast to the boys, who work tirelessly to pull off the impressive display of patriotism.
