  • “Fall Back" - Did you remember to set your clocks back? Daylight Saving Time ended on Sunday, Nov. 3.
  • Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Visit our Elections group for all stories related to the election, including Q&A’s with candidates. To check your voting eligibility and polling location, click here.
  • Community Presbyterian Church of Malverne is holding a Church Fair on Saturday, Nov. 9. “Farm fresh vegetables, Crafts, Bake Sale, Sample Sale, Household Items, Book Sale, Raffles, children's activities and more.”
  • The church will also be holding a Pork Roast Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday: “Join with your neighbors in CPC's annual Church Fair Dinner
    Roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, apple sauce and mixed vegetables with pound cake and ice cream for desert. Basket raffles.$12 for adults, $8 for children.”    
  • The Lynbrook Village Board holds a meeting on Monday night at 8 p.m. The board will host a presentation on recommendations for the revitalization of Lynbrook’s LIRR station area and downtown.
